Mid-Isle Soccer Club's Upper Island Soccer Association (UISA) League teams, the Mid-Isle Highlanders, play every Sunday starting in September. At the end of regular season play, teams will participate in the Upper Island "B-Cup Playdowns" in pursuit of a spot in the Coastal Cup in April, as well as the Provincial Cup in July. The UISA League is considered "Tier 3" soccer, a competitive level above House League but below the Tier 2 Vancouver Island Premier League (VIPL). Opposition teams in the UISA League come from the Comox Valley, Campbell River, Nanaimo, Powell River, and Port Alberni.
Mid-Isle is proud to announce the formation of a U12 Boys "UISA Development League" team! The U12 Boys Highlanders will play against similar opposition as the older Highlanders teams above, but no standings will be tallied and there are no Playdowns or Provincial competitions at this age.
At the recent Saanich FC Jamboree tournament, the U13 Girls UISA League Team went undefeated, posting four consecutive shutouts!
Well done, Ladies! You're our Team of the Month!
